Our Programs

Margolin Hebrew Academy - Feinstone Yeshiva of the South is a school with four divisions.

Leach Early Childhood Center

We have early childhood classes serving three, four, and five-year-olds that are built on Project Approach learning. Utilizing small group teaching techniques, educators tailor learning opportunities for each student. Tefillah, Torah, reading and math readiness are woven together around Jewish holidays and customs to provide an integrated curriculum. In addition, we provide weekly specialty classes like music, art, technology, and physical education. We recently renovated our facilities in 2015. Margolin Hebrew Academy (Grades 1-8)
Children learn best when they feel safe and happy. Margolin Hebrew Academy provides a warm, safe environment for the minds of children to grow and learn. Our program is designed to meet diverse needs and interests of all students. Our teachers love kids, and instructional planning is guided by a philosophy that fosters all facets of a growing child: social, emotional, and academic.

Junior High adolescence is a special time in life, if not a sometimes difficult one. We recognize and respect this. To provide extra support for our Junior High students, we have a Junior High Principal dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and working with students in grades 7 and 8. In addition to being a teacher, our specially trained Junior High Principal plans special programming and provides mentors for pre-teenaged students.

The Feinstone Yeshiva of the South is made up of two high school divisions. The Goldie Margolin School provides learning for girls in grades 9 through 12. Cooper Yeshiva serves boys in grades 9 through 12. Both high schools serve Jewish students from many communities across the country. For students outside the Memphis area, separate dormitory facilities are available.

Students in the Goldie Margolin High School for Girls spend their mornings immersed in college-preparatory, general studies classes. Students then spend the second half of their school day studying Judaic content. Torah Studies classes provide forums for intense, thoughtful discussions regarding growing in relationship with G-d and living as a Jewish woman. Twice-weekly chesed trips foster growth in the community, and semi-annual overnight retreats cement close-knit friendships. The Goldie Margolin campus is housed in a separate building located within walking distance of the main campus (gym, athletics fields, and dining room.

Cooper Yeshiva High School for Boys provides a unique blend of rigorous college preparatory classes and serious text-based Judaic Studies classes. Permeated with an unrivaled sense of community and camaraderie, our boys high school program serves young Jewish men who seek to learn and build community together. Boys participate in chesed trips, weekly nights of learning, and the annual Steak Dinner. The Cooper Yeshiva includes the Irby and Bernice Cooper Beit Midrash, science lab, library, and student lounge.
